AGR Beef Preview proceeds benefit AgrAbility
AGR brothers gather with Bev Berens and Ron Bates to present the proceeds.
This past winter, the Alpha Gamma Rho (AGR) Tau Chapter at Michigan State University held their annual Beef Preview Show. They recently presented a $23,000 check to Michigan AgrAbility from proceeds of the event!
AGR has sponsored this event for at least twelve years. In that time, they have donated more than $150,000 to the organization! Those funds have purchased tools and adaptations to help farmers keep working. Work provides individuals with a sense of worth, value and fulfillment and the ability to continue to contribute is priceless. It is amazing to think about the impact a fraternity at MSU has had to individuals right here in their home state.
The donation will help continue to provide valuable services and support to Michigan farmers with disabilities, illnesses or aging conditions so they can continue the occupation and lifestyle they love. Past donations have helped to provide extra steps for tractors, grab bars for easier equipment access, and accessible tools.
Thank you AGR!! Your donation makes big differences, one by one, for Michigan farmers and their families. Each time a farmer served uses the tool or an accessible modification, they will be reminded of you and your generous hearts. We are grateful and humbled by your overwhelming generosity!
